“Led by design.” That is the maxim of Avanti Systems USA (Avanti Systems), renowned for its innovative design, manufacturing and distribution of interior glazed solutions, including acoustic solutions, operable walls and door systems. Working out of its Greenwich, Connecticut-based headquarters, the company’s sophisticated technologies and attention to aesthetics have propelled Avanti Systems to the forefront of the interior glass wall market.
Under the leadership of Matthew Gordon, who has been CEO and President of Avanti Systems since founding the company over 15 years ago, the company has realized great success in assembling a product offering of elegant glass wall solutions for a global market. A self-described “serial entrepreneur,” Matthew, inspired by business trips overseas, started Avanti Systems with a clear and simple mission of introducing European-style glass designs to architects and contractors domestically and abroad.
To bring this vision to life, Avanti Systems is guided by seven main company principles that leadership has written to inspire and lead the company to growth, which include such concepts as “being curious,” “the value of happiness,” “teamwork,” “love for its customers,” and other encouraging themes.
Quality, Sustainability, Expertise
From a more tangible perspective, Avanti Systems brings a diverse set of differentiators to the industry, including a leadership position in quality, sustainability and expertise.
All Avanti Systems products, in fact, are constructed with high-quality glass and components, with features covering acoustics, switchable glass, Smart LCD and more.
Environmental stewardship is another key tenet for Avanti Systems. Matthew remarks, “We take sustainability very seriously. In fact, our systems have been awarded a dozen LEED credits while improving the environment for count-less employees and businesses; we also provide reusable movable glass partitions to provide an even lower carbon footprint for purchased glass wall solutions.”
Chris Cunniffe, Avanti Systems’ Marketing Director, adds that the tremendous skill set of the company’s team ensures a level of expertise that you don’t necessarily find at other interi-or glass wall firms. He says, “Interior glass partitions are our sole focus for which we staff several architects and host dozens of digital assets from BIM and CAD drawings to 3-part specs, making Avanti Systems an asset for any architect working through a commercial layout or plan.”
A Diverse Clientele
As a result of Avanti Systems’ unique strengths, the company is able to attract a wide array of customers, which includes top brands and organizations from corporate headquarters to retail chains, universities to hospitals, and more. Chris says, “We can provide scalable solutions for projects of any size, we can install any of our solutions for our clients—in addition to supplying materials for projects worldwide—and we staff architects and host design files to make any architect’s life better.”
Matthew adds, “We are honored and humbled to have a client list as broad and distinguished as we do.” Noteworthy clients and loca-tions include Harley Davidson, Apple, Mass Mutual, PGA Stores, Princeton University, Yale, Brown, West Point, to name just a few.
A Clear Vision
Avanti Systems’ hope for the future is to continue to design and supply elegant solutions for businesses, schools, hospitals, and other commercial enterprises while expanding upon its already diverse capabilities and specifications. The company has recently added high-wall glass solutions and it continues to expand its technical documentation on a monthly basis.
Matthew concludes, “We are fortunate to be on the right side of this rapidly expanding design trend and we look forward to expanding our book of satisfied clients with the goal of elevating the look, feel, and well-ness of our customers’ locations.”
